WebSt Thomas is a Church of England parish, close to the heart of the city. It is the 12th century mother church of west Oxford, under the patronage of St Thomas Becket, Archbishop of Canterbury, martyred in 1170. We are proud that St Thomas himself travelled through our parish on his journeys between Beaumont Palace and Osney Abbey.
