Blood tests are normal, echo was normal, ECG showed a bit of pericarditis. What next? WebPanic/anxiety can definitely cause abnormalities on an EKG, so it's very possible that's the explanation for the EKG finding. But it sounds like your panic/anxiety was originally set off by actual physical pain, so there's likely something physical going on, but no real reason to suspect the heart as the focus of that at this point. emergdoc •
