They’re thin and very snug fitting and they’re sold as Cold Gear 2.0 and Cold Gear 3.0 with the higher number being for colder weather. The leggings work well at keeping me warm as does the top. Some of the thorlos are super thin with padding in the bottom and lace areas of the foot. My preference is socks that breath and dry quickly. I'm not a fan of cotton. I never wear liners.
