WebFeb 21, 2014 · With the FD 300 F/2.8L and the 500 F/4.5L which uses fluorite, there is no CA, well none I've ever seen. The other lens that's similar to the 400 F/4.5 is the Canon 600mm F/4.5. That is also not corrected against CA. Its a shame Canon changed from the Canon FD mount before they got around to making "L" versions of those lenses.
